Comments: As an ex-pat 3rd generation Chicagoan who was raised a block from Holy Name I gratefully call the Drake my home when returning to my beleagured but beloved origins. This gran dame is an oasis in these times we must endure. She remains a living symbol of our vibrant and proud Chicago heritage.Guest rates this hotel 5 out of 5
Comments: I am in Chicago often and generally stay at the Drake even though my meetings are in other hotels all around the downtown area. I have been staying at the Drake for a long time now. I will keep coming back as long as they continue to have a great staff and have such nice rooms. The staff is wonderful, the place is clean, and it has some elegant history. Its a must stay especially for the price.Guest rates this hotel 5 out of 5
Comments: I stayed at The Drake towards the end of a business trip. It was amazing! Its in downtown Chicago just a block away from the John Hancock Building next by Lake Michigan. You could see the beauty of the hotel even though most of it was being restored to it's 1920s glory. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and nice. The rooms were fantastic and beautiful! A regular room is like a mini suite! The bed was really comfortable also. I hope to come back again soonGuest rates this hotel 5 out of 5
Comments: I love the Drake! Its location is fantastic, right at the tip of lake michigan, and Michigan Ave. The food is excellent, somewhat pricy but the Cape cod room is worth it. The atmosphere can't be topped. The staff is fabulous. Can't say enough about this hotelGuest rates this hotel 5 out of 5
Comments: Room rates in downtown Chicago are not cheap but the Drake is definitely worth the nightly rate of $190 that I paid. For the quality of the room (super clean, flat panel TV's, high thread count linen, great bathroom) you won't come close in downtown. The location is pretty amazing too. Literally close to everything. I'll be backGuest rates this hotel 5 out of 5
Comments: Just got back yesterday from a 2 day business trip and I stayed at the Drake. I seriously can't think of anything negative to say. It was just easy. Easy to check in, easy to access everything, easy to check out. Very nice hotel in downtown Chicago and reasonably priced.James H. Hatland rates this hotel 5 out of 5

Comments: We stayed at the Drake fo a personel getaway from Minnesota. When living in Chicago, there was no need for a hotel. Now that we are visitors to the best city in the world, why not stay at the best hotel it has to offer. It represents what Chicago is all about. The best part for me is having a cocktail in the inviting lounge and then having dinner in the Cape Cod Room. The rooms are beautiful and the location can not be beat. I will be back soon and often.
