My Stay at Excalibur Hotel
My wife and I went to Las Vegas with another couple and stayed at the Excalibur and it was great! I had read some reviews on the Excalibur and I was a little worried. Let me tell you there is nothing to worry about. Just be sure to upgrade to the Widescreen view rooms. We were on the 26th floor. The view was unbelieveable!!! The service was great everywhere we went. I can't give the staff high enough praise. We were there for a week and I would not hesitate in staying there again. I would recommend this hotel. Clean rooms and great beds, great service, what else could you ask for?
Best Value on the Strip
The Excalibur is definitely the best value on the strip. The casino is cleaner than some of the higher priced hotels and we found the dealers to be fun and friendly. Drink service was okay...some better than others. Our room was clean. Our only complaint was the buffet was not that great. I'd recommend walking across the street to the Luxor for an additional $5.
Great Time at Excalibur
The room was clean and cute, but there was a lousy view. We just a had a view of the wall as we were on the lower floor (3rd floor) People at the front desk were friendly, however, the check-in process was too long (almost 30 minutes!). The hotel is located at the far south end of the strip so there is a lot of walking if you want to go anywhere.

The Excalibur Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nev., is located on the Las Vegas Strip, connected by walkways to the MGM Grand Hotel Casino and the New York New York Hotel and Casino, over the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. Tram service to Luxor Hotel and Casino and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is available. McCarran International Airport is three miles away.
Hotel Features. Dining options include the Steakhouse at Camelot, the Regale Italian Eatery, the Camelot Walk Food Court and the New Roundtable Buffet. Waterfalls add ambience to two heated outdoor pools, one of which has a zero entry level. Drenched Bar serves poolside refreshments. The Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center offers Aveda treatments, houses saunas, and contains a limited hour fitness facility with flat screen televisions overlooking the pool complex. Guestrooms. The hotel's 3,991 guestrooms feature Medieval themed decor that includes wall art and carved oak wood headboards. Views overlook the mountains, the Las Vegas Strip or the hotel's grounds. Furnishings include two chair dining sets and upholstered armchairs. Refrigerators are available, for a fee. Wide Screen Rooms feature 42 inch flat panel televisions and MP3 adaptors. These accommodations also include pillowtop beds, granite countertops in bathrooms, MP3 adaptors and laptop compatible, complimentary in room safes. High speed wired Internet access is available, for a fee.

Expert Tip. Flair bartenders at the hotel's Octane Bar demonstrate their pyrotechnic skills while bar servers dance on the stage. Live music performs on select evenings.
