Comments: improvements like you are here location diagram with other parts of the hotel identified. You could use another easy eating place, or improve the menu at the one you have to other take out food that are easy to eat while gambling. I did drop some bucks last week, but your people are good workers, rooms nice, and hopefully, on my next visit I will be a bit luckier.

Comments: Im a Travel Agent of 20 years and I have travelled to Vegas 12 times. I have stayed at all the Major Hotels on the strip and although some beautiful hotels, I have came back to the Golden Nugget for the past 5 years since my first visit in 2006 Perfect Location - Freemont street is the business....Forget the Strip. Staff are EXCELLENT !! Facilities Excellent! The pool is great and the Restaurants are to die for !! Anyone with anyone negative to say about this hotel clearly has nothing better to do than make up things to say.

Comments: The GN was the most wonderful hotel I went to in Vegas. I only got to stay one night, but after what I had stayed in, I thought I had died & gone to hotel heaven!! My room was perfect & beautiful & spotless!! I loved the bed & the shower & everything about the room. I will never stay anywhere but the GN when I return to Vegas. I like it being off the strip & it is only a few minutes bus ride.

Comments: We had a issue with our room they up graded us to the spa tower 2 bedroom suite. The people were very nice and wanted to help. I love this Hotel and Casino but mostly the people who work there.If the rating was 10 they would get it from me.The manager in the VIP check in was fantastic+++++++

Comments: Stayed there for the first time Aug 8-12, 2011, usually stay on the strip but a group of us wanted to try it. The place was great, the rooms in the Gold Tower were very spacious, the food was great and the people were very friendly and helpful....the only thing we didn't like was the showroom for country stars. The seats were not elevated enough so it was hard to see in front of you, if a tall person sat down, other than that the place was great. Would definitely stay there again!!!!!

Comments: I travel to Las Vegas often for work. I always try to find the best value for my money but I am picky too and do require certain comforts. The Golden Nugget has it all; large comfortable quality rooms, the best staff in Vegas period, and the best value for your money that I have found. I love it!!!

Comments: I stayed at your hotel during the World of Concrete I reserved 3 rooms w/king sized beds when we arrived you didn't have our rooms you down graded us. I stayed again in march with my wife I reserved a king room and of course when we arrived you didn't have our room and down graded us. I'm brining 5 employees to the WOC this year and guess what I'm not staying at the GN

Comments: Just stayed for my 50th Bday... It's pretty bad when a Hotel stinks even to a Smoker! Beds were AWESOME, but hot water wasn't consistent and the Buffet was THEE WORST FOOD on the strip. Disappointed. Fremont Street is full of Riff-Raff - watchout! Come on Golden Nugget, step up the 5 Star Bar!

Comments: Love the GN...we always book a trip in November and do a package through a website online. We stay in the Carson tower..sometimes the rooms smell like smoke even though we ask for nonsmoking..but overall it is nice staying downtown and I love the casino. Will be going again in November and have our plans booked.

Comments: Loved the Nugget. Only place I would stay in Vegas now. The only problem with our whole trip is the check in. Took 4 hours to get into our room. Customer service was very rude every hour when we check back to see if our room was ready. Each time they became more rude. Thank goodness for the polite little girl who checked us in. There was a huge line up and she was the the only one on check in. If it wasn't for here being so polite and cheerful I probably would have lost my temper with the rudeness from customer service. I will definitely be writing a letter as someone really shuld be aware of how rude they are at the desk. Everyone and everything else was wonderful.

Comments: Our first stay at your resort was such a positive and enjoyable experience we returned months later with the entire family. After that, you had us. We tried two other 4 star resorts but they didn't compare to yours. We've returned since, and will be bringing our family this Christmas day to spend a week. Thanks!!!

Comments: This was our first time away from the strip, and we will return next fall. We were registered in five minutes with a warm smile. Our room was what we ordered and we did not walk miles to our room and the parking garage was a short walk from the lobby. They really do customer service to the 100% plus level. I can go to the strip knowing I can return to the G.N. in 15 to 20 minutes. We found the crowd more relaxed, and this rubs off will continue to stay for all these reason's at the G.N.

Comments: We have visited Fremont street before and always wanted to stay there. We spent two nights on the strip then came downtown to the The Golden Nugget for a couple of nights. What an experience. The Rush Tower was beautiful and clean. The Tank was incredible and the casino is top notch. We loved it!!!

Comments: We really enjoyed staying at the Golden Nugget. The rooms were very clean with all the extras we could think of. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful, and the casino was very enjoyable with a great nightlife! We have stayed at several other hotels in Las Vegas but now we will always stay at the Golden Nugget. What a great value!!

Comments: I have been to Las Vegas more than a dozen times. I have stayed at many of the resorts on the strip and have stayed at several different downtown locations. The last several trips I've stayed at the Golden Nugget. I would have to say tat I haven't found a place any better! The Nugget has an excellent staff that is extremely helpful and pleasant. The food is tremendous (the buffet is a great value and the food is great). I love the idea of a casino beign within walking distance of Freemont Street. The experience is unbelievable. The Golden Nugget is by far my favorite place to stay in Las Vegas!!

Comments: We have stayed at the MGM in the past talk about a nightmare, our flight was a little late about midnight we stood at the check in counter at the MGM for over an hour to check in....I know a city that doesnt sleep.....ok two check in people 1 advised she is finished her shift oh but wait someone will be out to help you right away....she lied. I will nevever stay at the MGM or a mega hotel in Vegas talk about a waste of money and time...now onto the BEST PLACE to STAY in VEGAS..drum roll THE GOLDEN NUGGET.....YA BABY effiency location and fun all around not like the reset of Las Vegas....hurry up and wait. Cant wait to go back!

Comments: We have stayed at several of the 'bigger' hotels on the strip, but the Golden Nugget was by far the best hotel experience we've had, Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and well done. The pool is beautiful. Gordie Brown was a great show. We have decided to make this our hotel of choice when we come to Las Vegas. Easy access to the bus when we want to go to the strip means we have it all at the Golden Nugget.

Comments: We've been coming to the GN for almost 20 years. We enjoy the GN's downtown casinos for their low limits, informal atmosphere, easy walkabout convenience, Starbucks (on site at the GN), and proximity to cheap shrimp cocktails (one block away). There are certainly larger and jazzier hotels in Vegas, but in nearly two decades we've never been disappointed by the Nugget's rooms, service, staff, food, entertainment, or casino atmosphere. The new shark pool is awesome, and if you want to enjoy a REALLY nice room, check out one of the 1500 sq ft Spa Suites.

Comments: my family and I love GN! the pool is great and the staff are always very nice, (except the witch who works at the Italian restaurant). we enjoyed our stay there in the heart of Freemont Street! we are not rich people, but the staff made us feel like we were number one. We relaxed and had a great time...thank you GN staff, you do great job of making guests feel like we're welcome. I will certainly recommend you to my friends.

Comments: This was my wife and my first trip to Las Vegas. It was, also, our first honeymoon after 36 yrs. of marrage. Our stay at your hotel was the best we have ever experianced. Comments: My Husband and son and daughter in law just returned from a week long stay at the nugget and we were treated royally. There was an issue with construction noise and we were upgraded immediatly. I have loved the Golden Nugget and recommended it for years and will continue to do so. Comments: We would not stay anywhere else ever again. We booked the GN and found no reason to go anywhere else. Everything was better than we could have hoped, the service, food,even casino workers that were so helpful. We ventured to a couple other casinos downtown to gamble a little but came right back to the Nugget. Why leave we had the best. The pool is awesome, we had the best Vegas experience ever.

Comments: We stayed in the new Rush Tower two months ago. My wife is still talking about it and we are planning on coming back next month. The rooms were first class and the modern bathroom made me want to renevate my bathrooms at home. We ate all our meals in the Nugget! The Grotto Italian restaurant has some of the best Italian food I have ever had (I lived in Italy 3 years). All in all our stay at the Nugget was first rate and I left feeling like I got 10X what I paid for. Thanks GN, see you next month!

Comments: unbelievably beautiful hotel, courteous people (I'm deaf-they were so nice), outrageous pool day and night; slushy machines at the pool pushing out wonderful frozen drinks, the two pools were not big but so fun. friendly people, great delicious buffet, Chart House oysters tasted of the ocean; you never have to leave unless you want to walk Fremont Street. They spoil you at the spa even just to use the facilities. I'm going again. .

Comments: WOW!! That pool is heaven. I never wanted to leave. We actually stayed at the Plaza and understand they are getting ready to redo the entire hotel. We spent every day we were there at the Nugget pool....It is fabulous. We also thought the entire hotel looked beautiful. We plan to stay at the Nugget next year on our annual trip.

Comments: I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel off the strip. The decor was great. The rooms were roomy and clean. Loved the little makeup mirror with a light. The bed was comfy. I loved it! I thought the buffet was wonderful. The staff were very helpful. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. Oh, and the poolside cabana with lounge chairs was awesome too. The price can't be beat for all the amenities. I'd definitely stay there again!

Comments: We've stayed in many hotel/casiinos over the past 20 years. When we discovered the Golden Nugget 6 years ago we never returned to any other hotel. It is like coming home when we arrive there. From ideal location to the great restaurants and the awsome pool we can't wait till our next trip. We live in NJ and travel to the Nugget twice each year. (On our anniversary and on Thanksgiving.) We have our special servers in each restaurant. (Just love Denise in the Grotto.) Hope to be coming to the Nugget for many more years.

Comments: we have been going to vegas for over 25 years. we discovered the gn about 15 years ago and never stay anywhere else. the casino host always treats us great and makes our stay very enjoyable. the rooms are always great and the casino and staff are always nice. we always come for 3 nights at a time and never leave the gn during our stay. we are coming again on march 3rd to celebrate my 60th birthday. there is no where else i would rather celebrate at. thank you gn for always treating us so special

Comments: Spent a week in January at the GN and once again loved it. Been coming for over 20 years. We celebrated our 49th anniv. and celebrated the marriage of our son... Comments: We just returned from our first trip to Vegas. I thought I might regret not staying on the strip but I really don't. The strip is great but overwhelmingly busy. It was wonderful to begin the day at the Golden Nugget by relaxing around the gorgeous clean pool. And ending the day on Fremont Street. The hotel just felt like home to me. Everyone was friendly the service was great and the bed was the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in. One minor complaint - was a bit loud for sleeping .

Comments: Have been to Vegas many times but last 4 at GN. Very accomodating staff. Rented a scooter due to limited walking ability. Rooms large enough to accomodate it. Staff was wonderful in taking care to be sure it was ready and running when I arrived and very efficient in handling our departure. Will stay only at the GN because it is A1 in all areas of service.

Comments: july 21,23.2010 we arrived late for check in around 8p.It was our 27th year wedding anniversary.The clerk checking us in upgraded us to a 1 bedroom spa suite.We thought he was joking.But when we open the double doors to the most beautiful suite ever.After staying there last year we told everybody about that room.This year we wont go anywhere because nothing compares to that experience.One day we will return.Everything was perfect.

Comments: I leave for Las Vegas in 2 days. My husband has a convention. I said, You know that I will only stay at the Nugget. I love that little coffee shop. & Years ago the nice people in the casino let me LEARN to play blackjack one afternoon..nice patient people. I like to go across the street to the Horseshoe for a bit too but the GN is my place. I have only stayed at one other place in Las Vegas and it was a disaster...never tried another hotel..Love the Nugget always qualty . See you Thurs.

Comments: We loved this hotel very much. It was our first time in Las Vegas and we stayed at the Golden Nugget with 2 of our friends. We got a free upgrade when we checked in and the room was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we had an awesome view of the mountains. We also loved being on Freemont Street. We have already decided if and when we go back to Las Vegas we will be staying at the Golden Nugget Hotel.
