Great Location
We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and booked in very quickly. We were offered an upgrade to a room overlooking the pool and with a view of the fountains which we accepted. The price for this included continental breakfast, light appetizers and two alcoholic drinks per day for two people. The room was nothing special but absolutely fine for what we wanted, the only problem was that there wasn't enough storage space for three people so we couldn't unpack properly. We were supplied with fresh towels each day and the beds were made. Don't touch anything in the mini bar or you will most likely get charged! The hotel was ideally located and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be central on the strip. We went to see several shows; Mamma Mia (excellent), Tournament of the Kings (very good, meal included but was a bit rushed), Extreme Magic (excellent tricks involving live tigers, show was only 1hr long so not particularly good value for money but worth seeing), The Blue Man Show (excellent - very different - again worth seeing), Anthony Cools Hypnotist (excellent - a bit rude). You can get discounted tickets on the day of the shows at the Coke bottle on the strip. We took the grand canyon sunset helicopter flight, we really enjoyed the trip and the sight of the strip at night was breathtaking. My husband and daughter went on the Insanity ride at the Stratosphere - they loved it - I was too chicken! We walked there from the Paris - my advice - take the monorail!! All in all we had a great time.
Paris hotel great value!
We stayed at the Paris Las Vegas in September. It is great value for the money. Room was spacious-just short of mini-suite size. Pool area was great in that there was always plenty of room and lounge chairs available. Hotel was just the right size-no long walks to get to pool, restaurants etc. Plus the location on the strip can't be beat.
Nice hotel but some staff training needed
We were booked into a double queen room at the Paris for 2 nights last week. When we checked in we were offered a deal on a suite at a charge which we accepted. However, when we went to the suite (which was lovely) there was only one bed and so nowhere for my daughter (adult) to sleep unless they brought up a roll up bed and so we had to go back to reception and ask for our original room. The room we had was recently renovated with a partial view over the Bellagio fountains which was great. Unfortunately, the pool was out of use, although we could have used the one at Ballys, but we couldn't be bothered to do that. Good location. We thought the Village Buffet was excellent. Excellent choice of food and of a really good standard. Our main problem was the minibar. We made the mistake of opening it and looking at what was available. We then found charges appearing on our account for items we had not taken. Apparently the bottles are on a sensor (no warning on fridge door) and if you move anything you are charged. We took this up with reception who said they would get housekeeping to check nothing had been removed and then remove charge. This didn't happen so we then spoke to a man call Devlin on reception who was extremely rude and unhelpful. Eventually we manage to get the charges taken off. The other staff were fine but some staff training definitely needed by this person!
Great Stay
We stayed at the Paris for our 30th anniversary and they did a great job. I used the "20 dollar trick" to upgrade our room to a strip view with a plasma TV. The rooms were very clean. We had booked the lovers package which came with a complete breakfast in our rooms and a $75 credit at Le Provencal restaurant. Although I thought the rooms were a little cramped, the view more than made up for it (Bellagio Fountains). I would only book the Hotel again for a special occasion, because of the cost, but we had no complaints
Awesome Hotel, Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at the Paris. We got a GREAT deal at $89/night through the hotel website. The room was beautiful and so was the bathroom with a nice bathtub, a glass shower and big counter spaces. It turned out to be our favorite hotel on the strip (theming wise) so we were really glad to be staying there! The $89/night rate was for a room with no view but it was fine for us. We went to a great place called TixforTonight (on the strip) and got vouchers for the Village Buffet at the Paris at a discounted price. The breakfast Buffet with the discount was at $9.99 per person instead of $14 (I believe) and I'm NOT a buffet person but that breakfast buffet was OUT OF THIS WORD especially for $10 a person. The discount also applied to the lunch and dinner buffet but we didn't try those. Overall, the Paris is a GREAT hotel, in a prime central location on the strip and has a great theme. The rooms are really nice and we enjoyed every minute of it! We would stay there again if we got a great deal like we did this time!
Great Hotel, Really enjoyed our stay!
We stayed here for 8 nights (We always book the last night even though we leave around 10 PM) Check-in at 10 pm was quick, but a "P" room was not available til the next day, which was fine by us. Picked up our keys the next day without a problem. Housekeeping was very good. I really like the separate bath & shower. Lots of room. The corner windows were nice - we had a view of the pool & the fountains. We are not pool people, but I did notice it always seemed quite crowded. Because the P rooms are at the VERY end of the hallway, there was no noise. Like many hotels, you must call housekeeping to get the bed linen changed, otherwise they just remake the bed. We tend to sit at the bar to play video poker, and we really liked Gustaves. Bartenders are very friendly & efficient - never waited long for a drink! Food choices are plentiful, from Mon Ami Gabi to the Creperie, or the great salad/sandwich place. Can't remember the name. All employees we came in contact with were pleasant, and they didn't use the fake French accent! The passageway to Bally's is very convenient, and the location just can't be beat. I would highly recommend this hotel, & we will stay there in the future.
Great Location on the Strip
My wife and I spent two nights at the Paris Las Vegas. We had no problems with the check in or check out - the staff in the lobby were very friendly and we had virtually no line either time. The staff was very accommodating to our request to locate us near our friends that we were traveling with and we were given rooms on the same floor. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved the location on the strip - directly opposite the Bellagio. Whenever we go to Vegas we like to get out and walk and this hotel is perfectly located--seems pretty central to both ends of the strip. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to others.
