Comments: This was a post-cruise hotel for us, our luggage was stored and the lovliest concierge I've ever encountered. We returned just after lunch, and our bags were taken up to our room. We splurged on a King Spa room, and it was worth every penny. Elegant, clean, quiet, luxuriously comfortable, and the best tub I've ever had in a hotel room. The complimentary drinks in the lobby lounge were very well received, and we were directed to a great, cheap Mexican restaurant just a couple of blocks away. If you're looking for something a bit different, yet with superior customer service, I wouldn't look any further. I'll also be keeping an eye out for Klimpton hotels in the future when I travel .

Comments: The Hotel Solamar is a boutique hotel with amazing amenities and location, location, location! I stayed here a week and loved every minute! Although the Solamar is expensive, you definitely feel like you're getting very good value as this is a really good place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

Comments: I had the pleasure of staying at the Solamar on a recent business trip to San Diego. This is the new place where my company is booking people! The rooms and the hotel all around were very cutting edge and modern - great decor and lovely fixtures. The bathroom was big enough to have a party in with a jacuzzi tub and everything and who doesn't love Aveda amenities? Definatlely coming back
