Whether you are curious about the history of the company, want to sample Coca-Cola beverages from other parts of the globe, or are simply looking for a great family-friendly way to spend an afternoon, the museum has something to offer anyone.

The World of Coca-Cola: Past and Present

Originally, the World of Coca-Cola was located near Underground Atlanta. During its 16-year stay at the location, it attracted roughly nine million visitors from around the globe. The guided museum featured memorabilia, advertisements, and a beverage fountain serving 22 flavors of Coca-Cola beverages.

In 2007, Coca-Cola Company relocated the museum to a new location and expanded the museum substantially to create the experience available today. While much of the original memorabilia and content was transferred to the new museum, there are plenty of new experiences to enjoy as well. Best of all, the museum is no longer guided, allowing you to take in the sights and explore at your own pace.

Popular World of Coca-Cola Exhibits

While exhibits at the museum change periodically, there are a few staples that are always popular with guests.

The Lobby: This main entry way into the museum is a visual journey through the packaging and advertisements of Coca-Cola through the years and around the world. Hundreds of different items offer plenty to take in and are sure to bring back memories.

The Bottle Works: The World of Coca-Cola is also home to a replica bottle factory. The Bottle Works slows down the process to let you watch step by step as a drink is mixed, bottled, labelled, and sealed. These same bottles are then delivered to another exhibit for you to take home and enjoy.

In Search of the Secret Formula: This 4-D movie is popular with children and adults alike. Seated on a moving platform, the movie combines special effects, movement, and other sensory experiences to create a thrilling ride without ever leaving the building.

Taste It!: Of course, no Coca-Cola museum would be complete without being able to taste some of the goods. This exhibit offers samples of many of Coca-Cola Companies most popular beverages. For additional options, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine serves up more than 100 choices at the push of a button.
