Located just west of the Puente Nichupte, the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean await you when you book your stay in Hotels near Playa Linda in Cancun. Enjoy a close location to this beach, as well as other beaches when you are located in the Hotel Zone around Blvd Kukulcan (km 4). The Playa Linda has several “all-inclusive” hotels surrounding it. Choosing one of these hotels during your visit allows you the added bonus of delicious cuisine options without having to leave your hotel. The Playa Linda is also close to the El Embarcadero, the launch site of the Pirate Gallon Cruise ships as well as the home of the Rotating Scenic Tower and other attractions.
Volley ball games are popular as well as sun bathing. If you prefer water crafts to sunbathing, Jet ski and kayaks are available for rent at the Playa Linda as well. Some hotels near Playa Linda Cancun also offer complimentary water craft and paddle boat rentals out of their marina such as the Grand Oasis Palm All Inclusive Hotel. If you would like a tour of the area by water, you could hop on a ferry boat. Guided tours are available at Tours’s en la Riviera Maya, on Boulevard Kukulkan km 5 zona hotelera within a few minutes’ walk of your hotel and the Playa Linda.
Playa Linda literally means “beautiful beach.” Over the years, unfortunately, the cleanliness of the beach has been neglected by its visitors and doesn’t quite live up to its name as it used to in the past. Public access portions, especially of the Playa Linda, have a reputation for not being the cleanest areas of this beach. However, the hotels near Playa Linda in Cancun keep up the cleanliness of the beach areas around their hotels so you can enjoy the white sands of Cancun. Some hotels such as the Aquamarina Beach Resort, the Barcelo Costa Cancun All Inclusive Hotel, the Grand Oasis Palm All Inclusive Hotel, and the Calypso Hotel Cancun, offer palapas and lounge chairs by their pools and on the beach surrounding the hotel for your added convenience and relaxation.
Getting around doesn’t require a rental car on your vacation to Cancun. If you are primarily looking to spend most of your vacation time near the beach, then you won’t benefit as much from having your own rental vehicle when you stay at the hotels near the Playa Linda in Cancun. You would probably only benefit from having your own vehicle if you like driving yourself to and from the airport or plan on visiting other sites such as the archaeological ruins of the Mayans, or visiting parks such as the Xcaret, Xel-Ha, or the El Garrafon. Also, depending on the hotel you choose, you may not need a rental car since the beach and entertainment are all around you within walking distance; especially if you choose an “all-inclusive” hotel. You could save yourself the expense of a rental and take a taxi to and from the airport. The public buses go to and from Playa Linda as well. The Blue Line (stop # 80) and the Green Line (stop # 81) buses have stops at the Playa Linda if you prefer to take public transportation to and from your hotel near Playa Linda in Cancun.
