Grand Canyon National Park offers hiking and exploring with beautiful, majestic views among natural, wondrous landscape. There are a number of activities to enjoy at Grand Canyon National Park.

Grand Canyon Deer Farm– The Grand Canyon Deer Farm is home to native deer that have been raised from birth to be handled and fed by people. A gift shop at the farm provides souvenirs such as jewelry, home décor, toys, and gifts.

Grand Canyon Railway – The Grand Canyon Railway runs between Williams, Arizona, and the Grand Canyon, offering guests the opportunity to travel via train to the South Rim of the canyon and back in one day. During the holiday season, the Grand Canyon Railway is home to The Polar Express, which is exciting and popular for kids.

Tusayan Museum and Ruin – The Tusayan Museum offers a look into the Pueblo Indian Village that once called the Grand Canyon home. Pottery, arrowheads, and household items crafted by the villagers are on display at the museum, and a self-guided trail leads you through the ruins of the long abandoned village.

Bearizona – Bearizona is a drive through zoo in which you remain in your car throughout most of the tour, as the animals are allowed to roam freely. A walking area with cages exhibits, gift shop, and petting zoo are also located here.

Getting Around

Aside from using the Grand Canyon Railway Depot, there are a number of rental car services in the area such as Budget, National Car Rental, Hertz, Avis Car Rental, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Williams is a relatively small area and several destinations can easily be reached by foot. Some hotels near the Grand Canyon offer a complimentary shuttle service to guests to make traveling more enjoyable.
