Recipient organized ways for youth to give back in their communities by tutoring, helping families in need, visiting the elderly, and fundraising for charities
Reservation Counter announced today that Chaya Kosofsky of Longmeadow, MA, will receive a $1,500 student scholarship. Reservation Counter awards a general scholarship every fall and spring semester to a student pursuing a college education and who serves in his or her community.

Kosofsky comes from a family dedicated to community service. While studying Business Analytics and Cyber Security at Bay Path University, Kosofsky also is a mentor at a local day school. She learned the value of serving from her father and mother and from her experience as a mentor for high school girls in Melbourne, Australia for 10 months. While there, she worked to help youth live their faith and to organize ways for them to give back in their communities by tutoring other girls, helping families in need, visiting the elderly, and fundraising for charities.
