Things to Do in Hill Country Village

When you stay in Hill Country Village hotels, you’ll have plenty to do close by or farther out. Should you be attending a graduation at University of Texas San Antonio, there is public transportation or plenty of roads to get you there. At just nine miles away, the university is an excellent place for sports and theater. There is a rental car agency within the village, so you can easily rent a car, too. Otherwise, the 502 bus line is an excellent way to get around.

Hill Country Village is home to numerous restaurants, both fast food and sit down, and many small stores and auto dealers. Cross the 281 and shop at the larger Brook Hollow Shopping Center.

Head into San Antonio

If you’d rather spend your day touring the River Walk and the many attractions in Downtown San Antonio, a bus or car ride gets you there quickly. You’ve no doubt heard of the famous River Walk, so how about learning about some of the lesser known things to do. Lakes and ponds in and around San Antonio are often stocked with fish to keep the angler busy. Cast a line and see if you can catch a whopper of a catfish or trout.
