I stayed at this hotel on our last trip to Boston. The room had wonderful appliances. A beautiful flat screen tv, coffee maker and tea. The bed was really nice and comfortable. There are many big attractions within walking distance. If your looking for a great stay in Boston at a reasonable rate, give this place a shot, You won't be disappointed.

This hotel was wonderful! It is new and has a great look to it. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Our room was pretty big and had a magnificent view of the city and water. It has a pool and gym that were really nice. The lobby has a nice fireplace and the free computer usage was great. I would love to stay here again.

The staff here was amazing! From check in tp concierge to the waiters at the restaurant/bars, everyone has been fantastic. This is a Grand style Marriott and I would stay here over and over again. Spacious rooms and great amenities and a fabulous shower made the stay even better. Oh and the beds were as nice as I've been in. This place was just amazing! Very impressed with my stay here.

I left a comment sheet at the hotel when we left. However I would like to repeat the hotel staff was the MOST friendly, helpful, personable, and interested that we have ever encountered in our hotel stays both in the U.S. and Canada. Every single person we encountered was remarkable in the efforts the gave to help us. I am sorry I can't recall their names at this time but their service will not be forgotten. I will definitely look for other Renaissance hotels to stay at in the future.

The desk clerk Eric went out of his way to look up Marriott affinity club number even though the system was down. He then posted my stay to that account and later call to advise he had done so. This is exceptional service.

Needed concierge and desk vacant for quite awhile. Hotel lobby very cold! Otherwise, a beautiful hotel with comfortable, clean rooms!

I only stayed one night. I checked in, left, and got back to my room at about 10, so it was a short stay. But the room was very nice. The front desk staff was very nice. I got to the hotel early and my room wasn't ready. I really needed to shower, change and get ready for a 4 PM training. The young man at the desk found a room that was ready and provided early check in. He saved the day! Also, I checked out at about 5 AM but was able to leave my bags in the bell closet. That helped a lot as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great, clean bed and linens. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was over priced and fell short

Hotel Description

Hotel at a Glance

Settle down and relax right by the harbor with a room or suite at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront. Boosted by the experience and dedication of the Marriott name, it is the ideal spot to kick back and relax or jump up and take the city by storm. After you check-in and unpack your things, go work up a serious sweat in the modern equipment at the exercise facility or unwind with a slow swim in the indoor pool and then a well-deserved rest in the sauna.

When you’re ready to sit down and have a great meal, don’t worry about having to grab your coat and your keys. Even though some of the best restaurants in the city are minutes from the hotel, you’ll find an equally delicious repast right on-site. Choose from the farm to table Italian dishes at M.C. Spiedo, cocktails and light appetizers at the Capiz Bar, or a hot drink and snack at the Starbucks coffee house.

If you are working while on the road, you’ve come to the right place to make your business trip the most successful it can be. Start with the services at the hotel business center to get all your documents in order and then host an unforgettable meeting or event in over 20,000 square feet of event space broken out over 23 meeting rooms and an enormous ballroom with room for 1,000 attendees. Every aspect of your next trip to Boston is in very good hands when you choose to stay at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront.

Guest Rooms

Instead of repeating themselves over and over with room after room with very little difference between them, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront has created a neat selection of three rooms and two suites for you to choose from.

Start with the standard guest room for a basic stay that is anything but. Upgrade to the harbor or city view room and get the breathtaking view of your choice.  Select the club level to get access to the club lounge and enjoy complimentary items like breakfast, drinks, and desserts.  Or, head up to the suites, either the standard or the executive, and give yourself the kind of space you need to stretch out and relax. All the accommodations come standard with a featherbed and duvet, a marble bathroom with a hair dryer, a spacious work area, a flat screen television, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker.

Nearby Attractions

The Renaissance Boston Waterfront offers up its closest attraction right in its name. With the Boston Harbor sparkling in just a block beyond the property, locations like the Seaport World Trade Center and Spirit of Boston are walking distance from the lobby. And moving away from the water and into the city, great sites like the Boston Children’s Museum, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, TD Center, New England Aquarium, and Fenway Park are less than five miles away.
